Since 2019, we’ve been brewing in Rupià, Empordà - a peaceful village tucked between Girona, the Pyrenees, and the Costa Brava.
A Labour of Love

Back in 2016, we (Judit, from Llofriu, Baix Empordà and Michael, from New Zealand, the “Kiwi”) created the Doskiwis concept with the ambition of making the beers we wanted to drink ourselves but couldn’t find locally here in Empordà.

In late 2017, we found exactly what we had been looking for: an old, unoccupied barn full of potential.
Strapped for cash, we rolled up our sleeves and called upon friends and family to help transform the barn into the brewery, taproom and beer garden we now call home.

After more than a year of hard work, we officially opened our doors on a cold February night in 2019, with just three beers on tap and a single garden table.
